High pressure will move off the Mid Atlantic coast today as strengthening low pressure tracks northeast across the lower Great Lakes. As the low tracks well north of the area tonight, a warm front will lift through and strong southerly winds will develop. These strong winds will continue on Sunday following a strong cold frontal passage. This system is expected to bring a wetting rain to the area with total amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch. Minimum RH values are expected to remain well above 30 percent for the next few days.
